I marched in the streets tonight along with thousands of other New Yorkers to protest the passage of Proposition 8 in California, which unjustly stripped marriage rights for same sex couples, after those rights had already been granted. It was an amazing feeling to be in the middle of this energetic crowd. I'll post all my pictures from the protest later tonight.
UPDATE: According to organizers there were over 10,000 people in attendance. We basically closed down the streets from Columbus Circle north to 65th street.
